Who we are

This site is operated by BFJ Consulting Pte. Ltd. ("BFJ Consulting", "we", "us"), a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202218174M). We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy-related request, contact us at info@bfjconsulting.com.

What we collect and why

• Newsletter signups. When you subscribe to our checklist or newsletter, we collect your email address so we can send you the resource you requested and occasional related emails. We process this on the basis of your consent, which you give via a double opt-in confirmation. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Contact form. When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide so we can respond to your inquiry. We process this on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries.
• Analytics. We collect anonymized or pseudonymized usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser, and interactions such as resource downloads) to understand how the site is used and improve it. Where required, this is done on the basis of your consent or our legitimate interest in operating the site.

Third-party processors

We use the following service providers, who process personal data on our behalf. Each has its own privacy practices:

• MailerLite — email newsletter delivery and signup forms. The signup form may use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam, which involves Google processing some data (e.g. IP address and interaction signals) to distinguish humans from bots.
• Formspree — processing of contact-form submissions.
• PostHog — product and site analytics.
• Google reCAPTCHA — spam and abuse prevention on forms.

Some of these providers are located outside Singapore and the EU/EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the providers' safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.

How long we keep your data

We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Contact inquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's retention settings.

Your rights

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to request access to and correction of the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, the GDPR additionally gives you the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
